Our theme in everything we do is “Together We Serve Promoting Greatness from Within.”  Words of Comfort Ministries, Inc. (WOC) was established in 2005 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and families with economic and spiritual support.  Located in Snellville, Georgia, WOC and nearly 50 volunteers provide services that offer hope and support to those struggling with daily life challenges.  WOC services focus on three core components:  Education, Personal Development, and Community Engagement, all of which encompass programmatic initiatives focusing on social change and access to services primarily for underserved communities.

THE MISSION: The Words of Comfort Ministries restores human dignity to the needy through multifaceted direct services, empowerment, and support to decrease social services’ dependency.

THE PROVISION: Words of Comfort fulfill its mission by identifying underserved populations and providing services that reflect Education, Personal Development, and Community Engagement.

Education: College Scholarships, Tutoring Services (Homeless and Foster Care Children), Women’s Bible Study, Adult Education (Homeless Shelter)

Personal Development: Counseling Services and Healing Through Pampering Program

Community Engagement: Homeless Shelter Feeding and Adopt-A-Family Program
